World population growth

The line graph shows the growth of population in both the rich and poor countries between 1750 and 2150. This issue has accord to the United Nations and stole the spotlight for a while.
in the mid of the 18th century the world population was less than one billion, studies proved that developing countries had a bigger population than the developed countries not only by double but 3 or 4 times the population. By the 21st century the population reached up to 6.1 billion never the less only one billion of that was from developed countries, it is thought that by 2150 the population will reach to approximately 10 billion, still of the 10 billion only one billion would be the developed countries maybe even less.
Studies prove that over the next hundred years the population will grow but the developed countries unfortunately stay the same our fall even less.

Mobile phones & driving

Science and statistics prove that using the mobile phone while driving has a higher risk to cause an accident because talking on the phone distracts you from concentrating on the road. In every argument there are two sides and this is no exception; for example a mobile phone is considered a necessity if you’re planning a long journey in the desert or traveling in the middle of the night not only to feel secure but to call for help in case you face any problems. There are better ways to prevent accidents and using your mobile phone in the same way; for example you can stop the car to have your call. People think that the negative point in using the phone is having to hold it with the other hand, which is nonsense because studies show that a lot of people do have accidents while using their mobiles and using headset which proves that it is the distraction that causes the accident not the mobile device itself. Nevertheless a lot of countries ban using hand held mobile phones while driving to decrees the amount of accidents and inflict big penalties on people who break this law. Nowadays having a mobile phone around is a must and we can’t say that it is not important and we can give it up, but it is better to teach the new drivers and update old drivers how to use it safely on the road and show them to let them know what might happen if they are reckless drivers and what the lack of concentration can do to them and their children. It is a fact that using the phone while driving can cause major damage and we are interested in the safety of them and the people.

Table Chart: Hurricanes and Tornadoes

In the table given to us I’m going to tell you about the differences between the tornado and hurricane and there is a big difference when comparing them.
First of all the minimum wind speed of hurricanes is 74 mph where 40 mph is the minimum wind speed for the tornado but it also tells us that the tornado has a larger maximum speed of 250-300 mph on the other hand the hurricanes maximum speed is only 150-200 mph
When you compare between the duration of them it is a fact that the tornado usually happens in a average of one week and lasts for few minutes and some lasts for few hours, the hurricanes have an average width of 300 miles whereas 100-600 meters is the average width and some get up to 1.5 KM.
As you can see hurricanes and tornadoes are different from each other. In my opinion I think the hurricanes are more dangerous than the tornadoes, because they have a huge width which can cause a lot of damage.

Age of Marriage

As you can see in the bar chart in the last few years the percentage of who are married women under aged is decreased in six selected Arab countries in addition to Iran and Turkey..The UAE has experienced a massive drop of percentage of married women in the age 15-19 years old, in 1975 there was 57% but it dropped down to only 8% in 1995. Other drops also happened in Kuwait, Egypt, Tunisia and Palestine.
In the table you can see that men get married from mid-to late 20s but women get married from low-to mid 20s.The most dramatic thing in the chart was the drop of married women in the UAE and the other six countries in the past 30 to 40 years, and it also shows the 14 countries that women get married in their mid-twenties rather than their teens.

Traffic congestion in Abu Dhabi

As we are getting more involved in technology the astonishing increase of car manufacturing is shocking, which leads to a chain of unfortunate problems.
It has become more difficult than ever to find a good legal parking those days not only that but also if you do find some place to park your car someone would probably park behind you. It has came to mind to provide places and comforting roads for the pedestrians but still the heat is making it such a hard think for people to walk in summer mostly, the increase of cars not only causes traffic problems but most importantly it effect the environment as well, cars produce Co2 and other fumes which goes into the atmosphere and all these gases in addition to other gases and smoke from factories and cigarettes causes the increase of global warming and most importantly acid rains.
In conclusion I’d just like to say that there are ways to decreases the quantity of cars around, like providing better public transportations and most importantly is to tell and show the people the damage these cars are making to us and our environment, it is best also to tell them and let them know what is predicted of the future if they consume cars in the same rat.

Leading car models

This table shows us four different car models and four specifications of each one of the cars.
In this essay I will be talking about the cars and describing them.
First of all let’s start with the Japanese cars which are the two cheapest in price; the Toyota Corolla, very reasonable in price around $15,55 and has a 14cc Engine and can go for 48 miles per gallon; the Nissan Micra is a bit less in price but as the price gets less so dose its engine performance which is 12cc but can go for 52 miles per gallon, it only coasts $15,500; the American cars are well known for their speed and strength, that’s where the Ford Focus comes in with a price of $15,800 but can only give you 1400cc which is no different than the Toyota Corolla but it can go for 50 miles per gallon; the Volkswagen Golf is a German car, not only does it have the biggest engine size it is well known of its German luxury, it is a bad choice to make for an economic car because it costs $18,250 and only gives 40 miles per gallon.
In conclusion, we can’t say some are good and some are bad, because it all depends on your financial statues and how much you can afford and spend reasonably; in my opinion I prefer the Volkswagen Golf due to its performance and power but still I can put all the other cars in perspective.

TOP ten date-producing countries 2001

Dates are one of the greatest assets of the Arabian countries. They are very good for our bodies because they contain lots of minerals; on the other hand it isn’t so good to consume them daily because of their sweetness which will probably cause diabetes.
The bar chart shows the top ten countries in date-production in 2001. You can notice that Egypt has the biggest production which is about 1.1 million tonnes. Strangely Libya which is in the same continent has the lowest, 100 thousand tonnes, which is a bit less than Sudan producing around 190 thousand tonnes. You might have noticed that Pakistan and Iraq both produce around 650,000 tonnes a year, which is good but not as much as Saudi Arabia producing 700,000 tonnes a year. When comparing Algeria, Iran, Oman and the U.A.E; Iran comes first with a production of 860,000 tonnes per year and in second place comes the U.A.E producing approximately 800,000 tonnes, which is more than Algeria and Oman with a combined production of 600,000 tonnes.
In conclusion I’d like to say that dates are not only a great way to get minerals but also a luxury treat and traditional sweet which is not very cheap to get, that is why H.H.S.Zayed Bin Sultan (R.I.P) was interested in this treasure.
