The UAE Vs Spain

Nearly every country in the world has a football team, and the UAE and Spain are no exception. I’d like to show and point out the similarities and differences between the two teams, and tell you which of them I would prefer to watch.

FIFA is an international body for regulating football, and like Spain the UAE also is a part of it.
They both have the same amount of players and both obey and follow the same rules and regulations.
Nevertheless, there are a lot of differences between them. First of all, the teams performance and level in expertise due to their trainings and practices while the UAE mostly plays local teams, Spain plays with many teams around the world.
It is said that Spain is a better team. Over looking that, I still would prefer to watch the UAE play. There are many reasons for this but the most important reason is that to see the UAEs great potential and how it evolves and gets better.
I mostly enjoy watching the UAE soccer teams because I live here and I am an Emirati.
It is thrilling to see emerging skills of the local players.
Spain on the other hand is a strong team and preferred to be watched with other teams of its level and skills.

In conclusion, I enjoy watching both teams but I personally prefer to watch the UAE team because to me I see that more thrilling and intertaning.

Compare and contrast between the UAE & Brazil soccer

Reflection 4

In writing procedure essays the two most important things are:1) to use the imperative form, for example: do this, do that, don't do this.. Sometimes we were given flow charts with the -ing form which must be changed.2) to use linking words like: first, secondly, then, next, after that, finally. You should divide the essays into three paragraphs, the introduction, the main paragraph and the conclusion. The essay should be around 150 – 160 words.

How olive oil is made

If you want to make olive oil and get good results and high quality oil, you should try following these steps.in the beginning, the olives are harvested and picked by hand or a stick
. Then the olives are collected in nets and baskets. After that, the leaves and stones are removed from the olives and goes I a washer to be cleaned and ready to be smashed and crushed. Within two to three days the olives are crushed by granite millstones. Then they are obtained and layered o a mat and pressure is added to it by screw or hydraulic. The liquid which comes from it is the being put in a centrifugal separator to separate the water and impurities from the oil. Finally, after centrifugation, the oil is obtained.
Good quality of olive oil is known by its smell and color. The less acids it contains the better quality it has.

Reflection 3

When writing a process essay you should always put in mind that it should be done in the passive voice, which is a very common mistake with students.
When starting the essay, you should start it with a simple paragraph and show what will be discussed.
You should follow the chart and connect the sentences, Try not to sound boring is it is always better to add some new vocabulary.
You should also use: first, secondly, next, after that, finally.
And don’t forget to add a simple conclusion to wrap the text together.

Reflection 2

I learnt how to write narrative essays:
1- you should use the past continuous in your sentences.
2- We use the simple past for the main form and sentence.
3- Sometimes we use the past perfect to describe two actions which happened in the past.

Reflection

Compare & contrast essays should consist of:
(a)An introduction saying which two things are going to be compared .
(b) A paragraph which talks about the common and similar things and the good point of view.

Comparing between simplicity and luxury

Comparing between these two places may look like such an easy thing to do, but in fact it isn’t.
Living in a city might be exiting and filled with adventure, seeing new things and experiencing new things every day, living the fast life where sleep has no meaning and everyone is competing to be the best there is. On the other hand, some people may not like all the bright lights, noise and pollution and prefer a much quieter place.
A village on the other hand, sounds perfect for raising a child and living perfectly; the green grass and blue sky to some people sounds priceless; living in a community where everyone is your neighbor and friend, living in a secure environment.
Personally speaking I prefer living in the city rather than the village.
I’m not saying that the village is not a nice place but I’m saying that to me, the city is more appropriate; I like living in a place where everything is accessible and living a personal life where your neighbor isn’t your neighbor; this might sound a little bit strange but overlooking the negative things and bad things with living in the city, I still prefer living there and see it as such a beautiful place.
In conclusion I do respect other people’s opinions and I am open minded. I can understand why people may prefer the village to the city, but still I like living in luxury and comfort so I choose the city.
